New Facebook Profile Photo-Used iCorrect Portrait to fix color

by on May.29, 2012, under Color Correction, Facebook photos, iCorrect Portrait, Photoshop Color Correction, Photoshop plug-ins

Today is my birthday and I decided it was time to update my Facebook photo. Yesterday, at the Memorial Day and Birthday celebration my grandaughter took a photo that doesn’t make be look too old. So, using Elements I cropped the photo and used iCorrect Portrait plug-in to fix the color. The skin tone feature in Portrait made me look real (as if that is possible).

iCorrect Portrait with Skin Tone technology fixes the color with a couple of clicks

After selecting iCorrect Portrait from the Filters menu I checked the Auto White and Black boxes, clicked on the white frame around the door behind me and then activated the Skin Tone button by clicking on it and then click on a couple of spots on my neck and I was finished.

In my last post, iCorrect Portrait-Not just for people, I mentioned that many photographers use it on photos that did not include people.┬áThat is certainly true, however, Portrait’s real strength and uniqueness is the fixing skin tones, a very difficult task in Photoshop. The Skin Tone technology really does work and give people the color of life. It certainly worked great on my new Facebook profile photo. Maybe you should update your profile picture. Take a new one and give yourself the color of life with iCorrect Portrait.
