The Turkey Trot: Using Pse with iCorrect EditLab Pro to Fix Color

by on Mar.24, 2015, under Color Correction, iCorrect EditLab Pro, Photoshop Color Correction, Photoshop Elements

I took this photo a couple of days ago. As you can see from the before/after comparison below the original was dull and lifeless–it was a cloudy day. I used Photoshop Elements to crop the photo and iCorrect EditLab Pro Plug-in to enhance the color.

The color correction process with EditLab is to start with Tab 1 and remove color cast by clicking on a neutral area (white, black or grey). Tab 2 sets the white/black/and midtone points. In Tab 3 adjustments for brightness (overall, highlights, & shadows), contrast and overall saturation are made, if necessary or desired. In Tab 4 the HueSelect technology allows you to tweak the hue, brightness, and saturation of specific color hues really make the photo come alive.
