Last week we received a note from one of our long time users of iCorrect EditLab Pro. Here is what he said:
“I have been using one version or another of iCorrect EditLab since January 2005. As a wedding photographer, I found iCorrect invaluable for rapid, accurate color/exposure correction of large numbers of wedding photos. What would have taken me days to correct took only hours. But that is not why I’m writing you today.
Award Winning Scanner Software Didn’t Work
A little over a year ago, I purchased a scanner for the express purpose of scanning all my personal slides and negatives (500+ rolls). The award winning software provided with the scanner (which also provides automatic color cast removal and manual color/exposure corrections) is inconsistent and difficult to use.
iCorrect EditLab To the Rescue!
The award should really go to ICorrect Edit Lab. After discarding the scanner software in frustration, I turned to my tried and true standby iCorrect. Once again with a few clicks here and there, a whole roll of film is corrected in under 10 minutes with amazing results. I have even
created custom correction preferences based on the film being scanned.
Not only that, but I’ve also found instances where my lab incorrectly color corrected the image when they printed it. I’ll continue to use iCorrect as a standard part of my scanning project workflow!
Magical Moments Photography
Here is a video I created to show how to use iCorrect EditLab Pro to restore old photos prints that I scanned on a desktop scanner.
